It is like martial arts to instill self-discipline across all trainees. Note that when these trainees work hard and exercise a high degree of patience, it is likely that they might be able to secure the black belt. It is usually a result of extreme training aimed at achieving top marksmanship in martial arts.
-We train together, improve together, and win together-Thank you sponsors-
"Teamwork is the ability to work together toward a common vision, the ability to direct individual accomplishments toward organizational objectives. It is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results." -- Andrew Carnegie

Studies have shown that children involved in physical activities:

Participate more in school activities
Are actively involved in meaningful extra-curricular activities
When your child enrolls for a martial arts class, your child will learn how to take a hit. The hit can be either a physical blow or a disappointment just like losing a match. There are many hits that we need to take in life. The most important thing is learning how to handle a hit and move on. However, this aspect may be lost when children are made to feel as if life is all about wining trophies. In martial arts, your child will understand how it feels like to be hit and how to respond when they are hit.
The importance of fundraising and the way it brings the community together as one #everyone #matters #yeg
Fundraising is a very important activity for many people. It not only helps in gathering resources needed for a program, but it also has benefits that go well beyond the main goal of fundraising.
We came up with the Buddy Board. The concept of the buddy board is promoting positive behaviours, and to lead by example. We challenge the children to do one nice thing a day for someone else. The nice gesture can be for anyone, as long as they have made someone else’s day a little bit better because of their act of kindness. The goal is so that we have our little chats with the children each day, we want to hear about how they’ve helped someone, not about how they got into trouble.
New program starting next week on Monday October 24 2016. Youth Program Director -Jarid Bussemakers with Classes weekly at 5:15pm-6:15pm for our Youth Martial Arts Program. This program will be for the youth ages 12-17 years of age and the children who have advanced to the rank of Gold level in our kids program-Be a Buddy not a Bully. The Youth Program Director will have an evaluation process upon entry to the youth program. Our goal is to empower the youth to evolve together towards the relentless pursuit of excellence as they advance from our children's program to our youth program.
We will also be having a "Closest to the pin contest" with Patrycia Rzechowka. The golfers that get closer to the pin than Patrycia on our hole will be entered to win an amazing gift basket package with items such as:

KP is more than just a gym it’s about bonding with others and developing friendships that will last a life time. The KP team isn’t built on any one person it’s a combination of everyone’s efforts/contributions which makes up an atmosphere and support system unlike with anything seen to date. That is why we are we are so proud of the accomplishments within the Kamikaze Punishment Foundation to date and very excited for what we can accomplish in the future. You can learn a lot about life growing up inside a gym and the benefits will tremendously affect your life in such a positive you can’t even describe with words. The best feeling in the world is empowering others to do better as you seeing them grow and evolve into respectful contributing people in society. Nothing beats seeing an athlete you trained and help develop transition to the boardroom and absolutely crush it in life, that’s success.
