NCCP Coaching Leadership Structure

All of our trainers are NCCP certified. The National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) provides coaches with standardized, inclusive, and safe sport education.

Our trainers strive to do the following:

Encourage athletes to be active and to have fun; enjoy working with children, youth & adults.

 Kamikaze Punishment Foundation trainers assist athletes in developing to their full potential. They are responsible for training athletes in a sport by analyzing their performances, instructing in relevant skills and providing encouragement. Additionally trainers are also responsible for the athlete’s guidance in life and their chosen sport.

Gasper Bonomo

Head Striking Specialist Instructor

World-class striking coach Gasper Bonomo holds an impressive professional record of 21 wins, 16 by knockout, and no losses. He also set a Canadian national record for being the first to hold championship belts in 2 different weight classes simultaneously.

Jarid Bussemakers

Head MMA/Jiu-Jitsu Instructor

Top-level jiu-jitsu specialist Jarid Bussemakers is a Black Belt who started studying Utsuri-Ryu Jiu-Jitsu over 20 years ago under Sensei Joseph Lindal. He holds a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Sensei Steve Bergeron, Japanese Jitsu Sensei Joseph Lindal and 2ND-DEGREE Black belt in Submission Arts Wrestling under 5TH-DEGREE SAW Black Belt Mike Martelle.

Brad Foster

Certified Physical Preparation Specialist

Brad Foster is passionate about the creation and oversight of the strength and conditioning programs at Kamikaze Punishment and designing the best possible course layouts to ensure students get the best possible results.

Steve Bergeron

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu / MMA Instructior

a registered IBJJF 2nd Degree Black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He earned his black belt under the instruction of Professor Roy Harris of Harris International. He has a tremendous wealth of well-rounded combat experience in kickboxing, MMA and self-defence techniques, also available on his Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Incoprated YouTube channel.

Mike Suvannasorn

Striking Specialist Instructor

A Gasper Bonomo Kickboxing Program student for over 15 years, Mike Suvannasorn currently holds the rank of Black Belt Master Instructor.

Param Bhardwaj

Striking Instructor

As a lifelong martial arts student, Param Bhardwaj brings vast knowledge to help our team grow and evolve. Being a student of Gasper Bonomo for many years, he currently holds a black belt in the GBK Program.

Zabih Davary-Diaz

Children & Youth Coordinator

Zabih has been training in boxing, Jiu Jitsu, and kickboxing at KP since 2017 and believes martial arts are an important part of self development and improvement both physically and psychologically.

Tim Mah

STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING INSTRUCTOR

TIM HAS COMPLETED THE PERSONAL TRAINER PROGRAM FROM NAIT AND IS CERTIFIED AS A PERSONAL TRAINER UNDER THE CANADIAN SOCIETY FOR EXERCISE AND PHYSIOLOGY (CSEP-CPT). TIM HAS OVER 15 YEARS OF RESISTANCE TRAINING EXPERIENCE AND HAS BEEN A PRACTITIONER OF MARTIAL ARTS FOR OVER 10 YEARS.

Rob Stasiuk

Submission Wrestling Instructor

Rob Stasiuk is a sports minded individual that has transitioned from hockey to mixed martial arts with an emphasis on submission wrestling and jiu jitsu. Rob assists with the submission wrestling classes for the Be a Buddy not a Bully program.

Michael Ngo

Submission Wrestling Specialist

Mikey Ngo has been training in martial arts for most of his life, focusing on the development of kickboxing and solid ground skills and holds a Brown belt in Submission Arts Wrestling under 2nd degree SAW Black Belt Jarid Bussemakers.

Adrian Burton

Submission Wrestling Specialist

Adrian Burton is a grappling competitor and submission specialist with a passion for health and wellness. Adrian regularly runs and hikes to increase his cardio which gives him the edge on the mats to push the pace.

Cody Ries

Striking Instructor

Cody Ries brings vast experience as a professional boxer and mixed martial artist. He is a well-rounded competitor with a strong pedigree in athletic development.

Kyle Fairweather

Gi Jiu Jitsu Instructor

Kyle Fairweather was Introduced to combative sports during his time spent in the Canadian Armed Forces. He is a Mixed martial arts and jiu jitsu competitor holding a rank of purple belt in BJJ.
